Utilizing its Cellular Visual Technology (CVT) AnaLogic/Eutecus has been developing and optimizing algorithmic solutions to estimate the object motion flow in the acquired images. In these applications the goal is to rapidly detect significant deviation (e.g. counter-flow) from the prescribed average flow and use this information for monitoring and security purposes.

AnaLogic/Eutecus has incorporated the optical flow estimation functions crucial in this application into its InstantVision software libraries.

The object flow monitoring solutions can be easily generalized to other security/surveillance scenarios - the InstantVision libraries running on the Bi-i system ensure a rapid application prototyping.
