Bi-i™ V401X-FP5500 Fusion-Analytics Module bundled with firmware / software
for high-performance embedded video event detection in FPGA
The FTS Evaluation Kit Version 2.0 is a fully functional video
fusion and analytics system consisting of the Bi-i™ V401X-FP5500 Fusion
Analytics module, bundled with firmware and software for testing the video
analytics functions and performance of Eutecus' MVE™, embedded completely in a
low-cost FPGA.
The FP5500* Video Sensor Fusion Engine fuses two
high-definition video channels - usually one visible and one thermal - to create
a single, reliable video stream, which is then analyzed by MVE™.
MVE™ implements high-performance, fully configurable video
analytics on a single low cost Xilinx Spartan-3A DSP 3400A™ FPGA included in the
Bi-i™ V401X-FP5500. MVE™ can be configured with ease and simplicity through a
carefully designed graphical user interface.
FTS Evaluation Kit 2.0 also serves as a reference design for
rapidly embedding the FP5500 Video Sensor Fusion Engine and MVE™ in smart
camera and DVR/NVR designs.
