ReCo™ V1 smart IP camera and video analytics reference design bundled with firmware / software for
high-performance embedded video event detection in FPGA
The MVE™ Evaluation Kit contains a fully functional video analytics system consisting of the ReCo™ V1 IP camera, bundled with firmware and software for testing video analytics functions and performance of MVE™, embedded completely in a low-cost FPGA. MVE™ can be configured with ease and simplicity through a carefully designed graphical user interface.
The ReCo™ V1 IP camera (built on the Bi-iTM V401XR Video Analytics hardware) currently contains the Xilinx Spartan-3A DSP 3400A™ FPGA chip that embeds the MVE™, as well as all necessary peripherals and software for controlling the full video analytics operation.
The PC software of the MVE™ Evaluation Kit allows running the MVE™ event detection functions in software only (without the Bi-i™ V401XR hardware), which enables fast and convenient experimentation in PC environment.
MVE™ Evaluation Kit also serves as a reference design and test/verification enviroment for rapidly embedding MVE™ in smart camera and DVR/NVR designs.

The MVE™ Evaluation Kit provides an advanced environment to test the unique multiple parallel event detection capability of Eutecus'
MVE™. When implemented on FPGA platforms MVE™ executes “all the rules all the time”, processing full HD 720p resolution
30fps video within a single-chip, a break through computing capability that exceeds current DSP offerings.
